Hotel Oslo - Coimbra

This place was a great match for a quick trip in Coimbra and good value for money. The staff were great by providing detailed maps and suggestions of local sights, made exploring easy for us. Make sure to check out the rooftop terrace if you get a chance.

Its location was lovely and wonderful and the staff were extremely friendly people at all times. Greatly enjoyed the family room with a great view, wouldn't mind staying there all day. The atmosphere created was family.

Finding it isn't easy as it is surrounded by traffic which wasn't a problem nor was it noisy, But you need directions

We were made very welcome, and the staff went out of their way to help us. I thoroughly recommend this hotel.

The car-park is part of a multi-storey just across the street. Use for hotel guests is free, but the system is a bit complicated. Not a serious problem though.

Highly recommend for families

Honestly our stay was great. The kiddos loved the breakfast buffet with all the choices. I mean they were practically bouncing off the walls with excitement. And the rooftop terrace was perfect for winding down after exploring.

Yeah it wasn't exactly cheap but what do you expect these days right.

Perfect and lovely small venue, handy location short walk to touristic sites as well as many attractions. Large & functional room with a big bathroom. Early check-in, parking close by the hotel. Everything perfectly fine. Simply nothing too much trouble, very very good stay.

I asked the staff about the price of a long distane call from the hotel room, they said that they don't know at all. After a 5-minute call they charged me for 45 Euros, I didn't like this way of treatment that made me feel so bad afterwards

I really loved how close we were to the amazing Biblioteca Joanina and the iconic Coimbra Old Cathedral, both just a short stroll away.

Well located near the charmng shopping streets and the river. Excellent front desk staff, good breakfast, parking deck close. I would recommend the Oslo to those traveling to Coimbra, Portugal

Generous breakfast selection with a beautiful view from the terrace.

Carpeted floor in the room felt filthy and outdated.

We really enjoyed our stay here. the rooftop terrace had stunning views and the cocktails were amazing! The cozy lounge was a great spot to unwind, but the shower in our room had a minor leak that was a bit annoying. Definitely take advantage of the delicious breakfast options – you won’t regret it! 😊

Nice hotel in the center of Coimbra. Clean rooms. All sightseeings are near. Very good staff. Breakfasts were tasty and we were able to make us different morning menus for a week. WiFi and an ability to stand a bed for a child for free.

Noise at morning as the hotel is on a passerby street. Not a big problem.

They offered a more expensive room for 10 extra euros but the new room was basically the same one we booked. We could not really see any difference. As usual in Portugal, breakfast is from 7:30 am which is ridiculous, too late.
